Visiting Princeton Church
We want your visit to Princeton Church to be enjoyable, and we will make sure that you receive a warm welcome. Visiting anywhere for the first time can be a rather intimidating experience. To help you answer questions that you may have, here is brief summary of what you can expect at Princeton Church .

When to arrive

Our Sunday morning service starts at 9:30 a.m. If you are driving, it would be good to arrive about 9:15 a.m. We have ample parking, with designated spaces near the main door for disabled parking, and we have a covered portico at the main door. Our church is fully wheelchair accessible. For driving directions see the Location page. The first thing you will see as you enter our church is our welcome stand. Greeters are there to answer any questions you might have.

What to wear

Wear whatever is comfortable for you. You will find church members wearing anything from suits and dresses to informal clothes, including jeans and shorts.

The worship service

When you enter the sanctuary, our ushers will hand a bulletin to you and bring you to a seat. The bulletin has all the information that you need to participate in the service. As a visitor you do not have to wear a visitor nametag, and you will not be asked to stand up and be recognized.

Our Sunday morning service is a time of worship, celebration, and praise. We begin with a welcome by our pastor, Dave Poolman, and take a few moments to greet those sitting around you. We will then do some singing, a mixture of modern and traditional songs, with music provided by the Princeton Praise Team. After this the younger children may leave the sanctuary as a group to hear a special children's message. If you wish you may go with your children as they leave. Pastor Dave then gives a talk from the Bible, speaking about things that are relevant and meaningful to our modern lives.

The entire worship service last about one hour, and afterward you are invited to have a cup of coffee or tea with us.

For children

Infant and toddler nurseries are provided during the worship service.

During the worship service, prior to the pastor's message, children ages 2 ½ through preschool are welcome to meet with Little Lambs in one of our classrooms, where they will hear a special children's message. You may walk with your child to the classroom.

Following the service we offer Sunday School for children. Sunday School lasts about 40 minutes.

What about the rest of the week?

Sunday worship is just the start. We also offer many different activities during the week for families, singles, children and adults.

Our Coffee Break program is a great Bible study opportunity for both men and women. This friendly and informal program is offered on Tuesday morning and evening.

Many children from our neighborhood as well as our church participate in our Cadets (boys 3rd through 8th grade) and GEMS (girls 3rd through 8th grade) activities.

Now that you know some of what Princeton has to offer, we hope you'll come and visit us soon!
